New album by House On A Hill – out today!
Today the worship collective House On A Hill’s new album “Jag Förlorar Mitt Liv Utan Dig” (“I Lose My Life Without You”) is released.
The worship collective House On A Hill, which participated in SVT‘s TV-Gudstjänst in 2023, is current with new music. Now the sequel to the album “Sänd Ditt Regn” (“Send Your Rain”) from 2021 is here after a couple of single releases.
The founder is Johannes Karlsson (formerly Safemode) who, together with his wife, Johanna, are the only permanent members of the band. Speaking of Safemode, the album features more old bandmates of Johannes, such as Juuso Savolainen and Tjet Gustafsson. In addition, Johanna Strågefors participates on vocals, which she has also heard sing with Safemode before.
– This is definitely the heaviest hymn album that Adora releases and I already know that there are a lot of people who are really looking forward to this, says Jonatan Samuelson (Adora) and concludes:
– I am happy that we can release records with such breadth and am grateful to be a small part in releasing these songs, which I believe will be sung all over Sweden in the future.
Karlsson’s feeling for easily accessible melodies in combination with lyrics that feel genuinely genuine and deeply rooted in faith in Jesus, carries through their songs. The arrangement is a breath of fresh air, oscillating between the familiar, modern worship with weight, to the heartfelt and more stripped down. All with a sincerity that is hard to miss.
“Jag Förlorar Mitt Liv Utan Dig” is released via Adora on CD and via all digital platforms on May 31.
