After some years in hibernation, the singer-/songwriter-duo Proklaim featuring Simeon Thelander & Johannes Bergkvist – returns with new music and plans for the future. First single “Feel Like It” will be released November 20th via JONO Music.
Proklaim is a singer-/songwriter duo consisting of Simeon Thelander (lead vocals, acoustic/electric guitar), and Johannes Bergkvist (drums, acoustic/electric guitar and vocals). The duo has played together since 6th grade in school, and has made several appearances at conferences, cafes and street festivals throughout Sweden.
The live-recorded debut album Messiah was released by Adora Records in February 2012 and followed up with an EP entitled Sunrise in June the same year, and several live-performances.
After many years in hibernation, Proklaim has now awakened and in November, the first single since restarting, Feel Like It, will be released. A melodic song, in the singer-/songwriter-genre, with some country-influences, characterized by Simeon’s highly elaborated lyrics, remarkably well produced music by Johannes, mastered by CJ Grimmark (Narnia).
This marks a new start for the guys, and for this second adventure new songs are written, and plans are made for both coming music productions and live concerts in Sweden and abroad.
– It’s great to be back together, and we both are very inspired to continue this band, says Simeon and Johannes agrees and concludes:
– We have such a long story together, and there is definitely more to come from Proklaim in the future.
Feel Like It, will be released by JONO Music November 20th and will be available on all major digital platforms.
